Things To Do in NYC This Weekend: April 7-9, 2023

Things To Do in NYC This Weekend: April 7-9, 2023 include: Passover, Holy Week/Easter, NYC Schools Spring Break, Easter Parade, Jazz Opera premiere, and NY Fashion Week Bridal.

The Passover and Holy Week/Easter, Jewish and Christian spring holidays are this week. That means it’s Spring in the north and we are being released from the cold grip of Winter.

[NOTE: We don’t support any religion, but learn from all traditions.] It’s time to grow.

Celebrate Maundy Thursday, the washing of the feet, and the Last Supper. Those who live in sandals (chanclas), know how important it is to wash your feet. In this case, it’s a Palestinian tradition that showed up in the Spanish church. The ritual invites us to be humble, forgiving, and share in community. Much of the world is poor, but it is not the poor’s fault. Most Americans have no idea how fortunate we are. ✝️
